Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa occupies a private island, Furanafushi, in North Male Atoll, a complimentary 15-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. The resort's 176 guest rooms span Deluxe rooms, Cottages, Overwater Villas and the Two-Bedroom Overwater Villa with Pool, renovated in 2018 alongside the award-winning Shine Spa for Sheraton. Seven restaurants and bars include the buffet Feast, Mediterranean Anchorage, Thai specialty Baan Thai and Italian seafood Sea Salt, with meal plans from Breakfast Basis through Half Board, Full Board, All-Inclusive and Premium All-Inclusive. Shine Spa for Sheraton offers signature treatments in a private spa pavilion with sea views, lush gardens and a yoga pavilion, on a private island. Hours 10:00-21:00. Renovated in 2018 as an upgrade of the award-winning spa.
Children
Sheraton Adventure Club (Kids' Club) is complimentary and available 7 days a week for children aged 4 to below 12, offering beachfront crab races, indoor educational activities and supervised snorkeling, 10:00-11:30 and 14:00-18:00. Cots for children under 3 are provided free of charge, subject to availability. Babysitting is available at an additional fee. Children under 12 may only stay in Overwater Villa accommodations if a parent or accompanying legal guardian signs the relevant disclaimer forms on arrival.
House reef
The resort runs its own coral conservation project (Adopt a Coral, with the local government and Reefscapers); the onsite marine biologist offers educational sessions and guided snorkeling tours around the house reef, and guests can join a coral fragment planting activity. Guests must wear a life jacket at all times when snorkeling; night snorkeling is not permitted.
Weddings & celebrations
An Orchid Garden / Honeymoon Garden is marked on the resort map. Jalsaa, a 468 sqm self-contained indoor and outdoor venue with its own private pool, is available for events and private island takeovers.
