The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is an all-villa resort on the Fari Islands archipelago in North Malé Atoll, opened on 01st June 2021 and designed by Kerry Hill Architects. All 100 villas are beachfront or overwater, each with an integrated infinity pool, a sundeck and the attention of an Aris Meeha island butler available 24 hours. Seven restaurants and bars, a ring-shaped overwater Ritz-Carlton Spa with nine treatment rooms, a Ritz Kids club and a dive centre run with Dive Butler International sit alongside access to the shops and dining of Fari Marina Village.

The Ritz-Carlton Estate is a private beach residence that offers an exclusive cove experience with a private beach and sunset views. It comfortably sleeps eight adults in four bedrooms and provides guests with a private pool and large sundeck, indoor and outdoor living space, and a full kitchen. The residence also offers guests a private chef for in-residence dining, dedicated Aris Meeha (island butler) as well as a dedicated buggy for resort transportation. The brochure states occupancy of 8 adults + 4 children, or 12 adults when adding an extra bed, across three villas on private grounds of 1,500 sqm / 16,150 sq ft.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa is a ring-shaped, overwater spa perched over the lagoon, with the cardinal directions of the treatment rooms aligned to the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang energies. It has nine 60 sqm treatment rooms, the 'Chen-Kan Suite' offering private wellness facilities and a relaxation lounge, a relaxation area, a salon with hair and nail services, and a boutique carrying renowned skincare brands. Products are from Bamford, an exclusivity in the Maldives. Spa Hours: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Signature treatment: Maldivian Signature Rejuvenation, a 180-minute island-inspired treatment with fresh coconut scrub, a full-body warm coconut oil massage with heated sand poultices, finished with a coconut milk bath.
Children
Ritz Kids is designed for children ages 4 to 12 and uses four pillars - land, water, environmental responsibility and culture, part of Jean-Michel Cousteau's Ambassadors of the Environment programme - to create a schedule of daily activities. The Ritz Kids Club is a futuristic indoor-outdoor space with indoor and outdoor playgrounds, napping pods, an area for video games and movies, and a dedicated pool with slides and jets. A daily complimentary activity is offered for children under 12.
House reef
The resort's sandbank encircles a lively coral reef with several outcrops sheltering lobster, fish, rays and sea turtles. Preserving the reef and marine life is a priority, with plans to start a coral planting project. The resort works with the Olive Ridley Project on a turtle holding facility and runs a drone conservation project monitoring the ocean habitat for turtles entangled in ghost nets.
