The Residence Maldives at Falhumaafushi sits in the far-southern Gaafu Alifu Atoll, a sister island to The Residence Maldives at Dhigurah. It is home to the first and only Spa by Clarins in the Maldives, six individual pavilions linked to the island by a jetty and overlooking the lagoon, plus a large open yoga deck. Exclusive to The Residence Maldives, it is the first and only Spa by Clarins in the Maldives and offers an array of holistic treatments, pampering massages and hair services. Linked to the mainland by a jetty, six individual pavilions overlook the serene waters of the lagoon. Special spa experiences in-villa and on the castaway island are also available. The large open yoga deck is the perfect spot to embrace spectacular views and rejuvenate the mind, body and soul. Opening hours 10:00 am - 08:00 pm; appointments on ext 503 (Falhumaafushi) or via reception. A hairdressing salon and a sauna and steam room are listed separately under services & amenities.

House reef
The resort's house reef is The Falhumaa Reef. The Dive & Water Sports Factsheet instead says 'House Reef: 200m from the beach, Depth: from 5m to 30m'. There are around 25 dive sites around the resort, 5 minutes to 40 minutes away, with hard and soft corals, sponges, sea fans, trigger fish, parrot fish, fusiliers, tunas, turtles, barracudas, grey reef sharks, white and black tip reef sharks, nurse sharks, leopard sharks, eagle rays and sting rays. Water temperatures 28-30C, suitable to dive year round; January to May incoming medium-to-strong current with visibility 15m to 50m, June to December outgoing small-to-medium current with visibility 15m to 25m.
